In Spain people do not need an excuse for a fiesta. Halloween, for example, is now almost as big here as it is in the States, although I rather suspect that few people know its origin or what it is really supposed to represent. 

Anyway, enough of all that. Today is 4th of July, celebrated by Americans around the world (but not the Spanish…….. just yet).
